Additional Scholarships and Grants Information through the ENA Foundation

Founded in 1991, the ENA Foundation was created to support the mission of providing educational scholarships and research grants in the discipline of emergency nursing.

The ENA Foundation fulfills the mission by offering programs such as academic scholarships, professional development and research grants. Program funding is a direct result of contributions received from ENA members, state councils, chapters, corporations and friends of emergency nursing. In the 6 years between 2018 and 2023, 53 Texas nurses received $207,750 in Foundation scholarships to advance their education.

The purpose of the ENA Foundation is to enhance emergency health care services to the public by achieving the following goals:

  • Promoting emergency nursing through research and education.
  • Enhancing professional development through research.
  • Providing a means for the education of health care professionals in the care and
  • treatment of emergency patients.
  • Educate the general public on emergency related subjects.
